Provided Services For all Metals & Plastics
Polish or Deburring
This finish can be provided on most any substrate and is used in preparation for paint, e-coat or powder coat.
This finish is mainly used to remove parting lines from castings and any raised edges of manufactured metal. This is a functional/non-decorative finish. It is usually followed up with a bright buff if the part is going to be electroplated or anodized and sometimes can be painted over.
We offer a wide variety of abrasives and grits to remove defects from die castings, extrusions, and roll formed or fabricated parts. This step can be done in a course grit to remove defects before paint or be taken up to a very fine finish in order to be bright buffed. We have dozens of stations and trained operators that perform this operation on a wheel, using a single or multiple step process to fit your polishing requirements.
Machining Services
We have a variety of CNC equipment at our disposal to perform a variety of tasks. We run multiple cells of production machining, ranging from small handheld components like a wrench, to large heavy items such as an automotive tow hook. We also have cells dedicated to run custom machining jobs making parts for a variety of businesses in the greater west Michigan area. We design, build, and implement our own machinery and fixtures for our equipment.
Managed Services
We partner with some of the best companies in the industry. We love to help our customers if the value add items below are needed for their project.

An electrochemical process added to the surface of many substrates to form a decorative, durable, corrosion resistant finish. It can be completed in a variety of colors and finishes, ask us for more details.
Chrome Plating
An electroplating process where thin layers of copper and/or nickel, and chromium are added. It finishes with a bright luster and improved durability. Highly used in the automotive industry for both appearance and corrosion resistance.
Powder Coating
An electropainting process where paint particles are evenly added to your parts and baked to cure. Ideal for decorative parts that need improved durability.
Part Wash
If parts get any buildup throughout the supply chain whether that is machine coolant, dust, grime, or anything else we can have your parts washed to insure cleanliness.
Vibe
A roto deburr process to remove burrs and small defects. This is typically more of a functional finish and is not highly cosmetic.

About Us
General Information
Highpoint Finishing Solutions first began operations early in 2011, founded by James Davis and Tracy Boetsma. Both owners have spent their careers in the Metal Finishing / Electroplating / Machining industries.
Highpoint started with 30 employees in a 40,000 square foot facility and has seen tremendous growth to having upwards of 150 employees and 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space between all locations. Although still a young company, Highpoint’s staff has countless years of experience in the metal finishing industry.
Our specialty is high-production, high-quality parts, although we have the capability to run small custom batches of parts as well. We currently run programs with usage in the hundreds of thousands as well as single custom parts. These parts range in size from inches, to over 10 feet in length.
If you have a product that is in need of a decorative finish, a functional finish, assembly or any other service, we are your solution. We can take your piece of metal/plastic and turn it into anything you require. The only limit to what we can do is the limit of our customers imagination.
